On Windows Vista and Windows Seven in Starter and Home Basic version you cannot apply themes.
But there are an alternative, a new program by k-rlitos.com to apply NON aero styles to these SO.
From classic style:
NOTE: you must have patched your Windows.

Nothing works. I downloaded the program and followed the steps, but then when I applied the theme, it wouldn’t show up. I don’t know what went wrong.
