Hello,i see much poeples have the same probleme,they can not see background folders,i try to explain!!!!
1.Download all patch it's a zipfile extract to any place you want!!!!!
2.themepatcher:install and reboot!!
3.InstallTakeOwnership:When window come you say yes!!
4.Now you go on your hartdrive where windows is istall(on my pc it's c:) C:Windows/system32/shell32.dll
5.You take ownership with rigth button and rename it 'shell32.dll.bak' and now you go to de downloaded folder and open folder shell32,there are 2 folder 86 and 64(i use 86)copie the file 'shell32'and past it to Windows/system32!!
6.Now you go in same folder ...Windows/systeme32/themecpl.dll with the rigth button you take ownership and rename it to 'themecpl.dll.bak' go bak to donloaded folder open the folder 'themecpl' copie the file and paste it to Windows/system32
7.NOW REBOOT
8.And this time you can see all pictures how in my theme,i hope you understand my explication!!!!!

andrea tuve un gravisimo problema, la cuestión es que segui tus instrucciones al pie de la letra pero no funciono del todo, almenos hasta el paso 5 funciono, cambie el archivo a extension bak pero a la hora de remplazar no queria, se marcaba que si pero el archivo copiado no aparecia en la carpeta system32 y de ahi lo mismo del otro archivo y lo cambie sin cambiar de nombre y no me fije qe no tenia el archivo shell32.dll solo tenia el archivo shell32.dll.bak y mi laptop se quedo negra y no podia hacer nada y por suerte tenia archivo de recuperación del sistema y me salve pero aun no se ven las imagenes solo de un tema: el tema de miku que tengo instalado y el de white rock shoter no se ven las imagenes 
pero seguire probando a ver que solución encuentro, gracias como quiera 
esto tengo una duda en windows de 64 bit solo se remplazan los archivos en system 32 o tambien en syswow64
